Minerva Intézet Nonprofit Kft.
CODE OF ETHICS

The Minerva Institute is committed to conducting its AI-based research in a transparent, fair, and ethically rigorous manner. We believe that transparency is the foundation of credible operations, which is why we strive for openness and accountability at every level of our work.

1. Clear identification and open communication

At the beginning of every contact, we clearly indicate that the communication is being conducted by a robotic interviewer: “Hello, I am contacting you on behalf of the Minerva Institute. I am a robotic survey assistant…” We do not conceal the machine’s role, because straightforward disclosure is the basis of a fair and respectful interaction.

2. Respect for respondents’ attention

We formulate our questions simply, clearly, and in an accessible way, adapting them to everyday language use. We avoid unnecessary complexity while consistently upholding the professional standards of survey methodology.

3. Respect for respondents’ time

We work with short, well-structured questions. We allow room for spontaneous answers and offer predefined response options only when justified. Our aim is to make responding quick, natural, and convenient.

4. Transparent operations

Our operations are public and open to verification:

  • our privacy notice, company details, and contact information are easily accessible;
  • we provide advance information about our research, including the expected duration, the phone number used, and the anticipated questions;
  • our research methodology — including sampling, quotas, and weighting principles — is public;
  • subject to compliance with data protection requirements, we make raw data available for further analysis and verification;
  • we present the functioning of our technology openly.

5. Predictable and controlled AI operation

We do not use uncontrolled artificial intelligence. Our systems classify responses exclusively into predefined categories and do not generate independent interpretations.
